To supplement what they get from the food pantry, this family forages for grapes and other wild edibles in the woods near their home in Osage, Iowa. 1 in 6 Americans struggle with food insecurity right now - in 1968 that number was 1 in 20. Many of these families on food assistance have jobs, but can’t make ends meet with current wages.
